This ring is built around a paradox.
A solid silver base holds a pair of translucent resin lips, caught delicately by small silver claws—as if the object itself is trying to keep something from escaping.
Hidden beneath the lips, between resin and metal, lies a fragile paper fragment marked with the words “Secret de stat" (meaning "state secret”).
Part of the X Point collection, this ring is created from casts of real human body parts, transforming intimacy into artifact. Here, lips become a symbol of shared silence: secrets whispered only between women, stories never translated, never exposed, never archived. Confessions that circulate quietly, outside of official language, outside of power.
The phrase “state secret” is ironic and deliberate. These are not secrets of institutions or governments, but of bodies—of memory, desire, complicity, survival. Knowledge that does not belong to history books, but to those who carry it.
This is a conceptual ring.
It does not decorate—it questions.
It guards what cannot be proven, only felt.
This piece is handmade and unique.
