The Spirit of the Piece: The pendant is meticulously forged into the likeness of an ancient Roman crucifixion spike—the very instrument used to pin divinity to wood. Its form is unyielding, heavy, and deliberately scarred, with a textured, hammered surface that speaks of pain, endurance, and ancient history.
This piece translates the Romanian spiritual adage, "Everyone carries their own cross" (Fiecare își duce singur crucea), into a tactile object.
