Custom orderThis ring continues the narrative of the Broken Traditions. City Glass collection, where value, decay, and transformation coexist.
At its center lies a bronze coin — no longer held in place, but slowly consumed from beneath by sculptural silver mushrooms. Growth replaces force. Instead of claws that grip, here nature infiltrates, devours, and reclaims. What once symbolized permanence and authority is rendered vulnerable, organic, temporary.
Blue glass shards emerge along the sides of the ring, like crystalline residues of the city — fragments of the contemporary world embedded into the piece. They catch the light with an almost gem-like presence, blurring the boundary between the precious and the discarded.
There is no satire drawn on the coin this time. The intervention is quieter, but perhaps more radical: erosion instead of mockery, transformation instead of defacement.
This ring speaks about slow collapse, about how systems fall not only through impact, but through growth, time, and neglect.
About how even metal can be overtaken by life.
About how meaning, like matter, is never stable.
Material: 925 Sterling Silver, bronze, glass
This ring can be recreated upon request, but never repeated.
Each new version will grow its own forms, hold its own fragments, and carry a slightly different balance — shaped by chance, by hand, and by the materials that choose to appear. No two pieces will ever be identical, only related, like variations of the same quiet story.
